Visitors are welcome with safety protocols in place. Visitors to independent living residences are required to sign in when they arrive and receive a temperature check. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4°F will not be allowed to visit. Masks are required and each resident is limited to two visitors. Visitors must be 18 years of age or older. If the visitor is coming from out of state, they must contact Grandview Terrace for the most recent guidelines.
Visitors to the Health and Rehabilitation Center are permitted in two categories: Designated Essential Visitors (up to two specific family members or caregivers) and general visitors (anyone the resident wishes to have as a visitor). Designated Essential Visitors must provide the Health and Rehabilitation Center with documentation showing a negative COVID-19 test (either PCR or antigen) prior to their first visit. Subsequent visits require re-testing at the same interval required for staff, which can vary depending on current percent positivity rates in Maricopa County. Contact the Health and Rehabilitation Center at (623) 975-8100 to confirm current testing intervals. Designated Essential Visitors will also need to complete an “Attestation of COVID-19 Test” form for each visit.
Appointments are required in advance for all general visitation. Forty eight hours prior to the indoor visit, a general visitor is required to be tested and receive negative COVID-19 test results. General visitors will also need to complete an “Attestation of COVID-19 Test” form for each visit.
ALL VISITATION IS CONDUCTED ACCORDING TO STATE AND FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS AND MAY CHANGE BASED ON THE COVID STATUS OF MARICOPA COUNTY AND/OR PER REGULATORY.
